Once in a while, we go out and have dinner with our friends They recommended this particular place Service was prompt. We ordered our drinks which by the way were good we all had salads. Excellent. The menu was fairly limited so we decided to go with the pasta which was very very good. we all ordered four different types of dessert which were excellent. They weren’t over sweet sorbet gelato. Ice cream was very good. The shocker was it was on Wednesday which they run these great specials and on top of that surprise our friends decided dinner was on them. You definitely get your your money is worth highly recommend this place

Wonderful experience with family on Mother’s Day. Our host for the evening was so kind and our waitress was so friendly and professional. Looking forward to another dining experience at Salute!

Such a treat! Service and food were wonderful, I especially loved the beef carpaccio and the ceasar salad may be the best I ever had. Super excited they serve a good bellini too! Tim is a great, attentive, and personable server. There was a wonderful server girl with curly hair and I'm sad to forget her name, but she and everyone else were also lovely.

First time here and we are definitely coming back. This truly is a local's hidden gem. Very unassuming and small. But the food was tasty from the beginning to end! We had a sweet server, Jenny, who has lots of personality and attention to detail work ethic! We love her! We had the beef carpaccio, Caesar salad, carbonara, chicken Marsala and the hanger steak. We were both dumbfounded by how amazing the steak was. And one of my biggest complaints about going out is the lack of good steaks in this town for reasonable prices for the average family. This steak paired with the Montepulciano reserva was incredible. The manager made frequent rounds which tells me the business cares about the service from the top down. Awesome stuff! This place doesn't cater to the tourist that plague downtown so thank you so much for being a truly delightful spot for our date night!

Absolutely delicious. Best ravioli I’ve had! And the Anipasto Mista was the most amazing selection. My partner loved the Carpaccio. Went for my birthday with my partner and my waitress was the cutest! She was so excited it was my birthday that night, I believe her name was Elise. Forgot to add she added a candle to my dessert :’) Give her a raise !!! Great service. Sweet basil gelato was TO DIE FOR! Beautiful spot as well.

Every visit is consistently outstanding! Unlike some restaurants that struggle with consistency, this one always delivers amazing food and service. If you're looking for incredible dishes that are impossible to recreate at home, a wonderful ambiance, and service that hits the mark every time, this is the place to be. The entire waitstaff is exceptional, with Tim being our server last night (for our anniversary). He always does an excellent job of checking in at just the right moments, offering perfect recommendations for both food and drinks, and helping us with genuine kindness. Their happy hour is a fantastic deal, and the dinner menu is not only a great value but also consistently exceeds expectations. On our most recent visit, we enjoyed an appetizer that was as visually stunning as it was delicious. The onion soup was the best we’ve ever had, and both entrees were top-notch — including the first salmon from the Columbia River this season, wow so fresh! The dessert was perfectly balanced, offering just the right amount of sweetness and a delightful finish to the meal. This is hands-down our favorite restaurant in Central Oregon.

Four of us had dinner at Salute for the first time Monday evening. All of us were very, very impressed. The "feel" of the space was comfortable and relaxing. Our server was incredible -- help one of our group sort through some options to address dietary concerns. The food was excellent...my wife and I loved the "Italian French Onion" soup, and our dessert. I liked my grilled scampi, but she was less enthusiastic about the other scampi she had. That's why I didn't give the food a Five. We will be back...wonderful experience.
